Modular Security Systems Inc. (MSSI) just completed this new Patented Modular Access Control (MAC) Portal with six full height, high security turnstiles, and access control technology. In 2004 MSSI developed, engineered, and invented the now Patented Modular Access Control (MAC) Portal. A modern day "time alley" or "brass alley" MAC Portals with full height turnstiles have saved a number of MSSI customers significant amounts of time and money on projects in the U.S. and abroad. The MAC Portal was created by incorporating full height turnstiles and access control technology into an ISO shipping container (also known as sea cans, conex boxes, and milvans). By building MAC Portals out of shipping containers MSSI has developed a product that is mobile and can be used at numerous locations throughout the life of the unit.
Thanks to MSSI and the Patented MAC Portal, the construction industry is quickly moving into the 21st century with regard to how the industry addresses time and attendance as well as access control on jobsites.
Rob Slagel, President and Owner of MSSI recently said: “MSSI has been extremely pleased with the performance of the various access control technologies and full height turnstiles we've used in our Patented MAC Portals. Most of the times customers come to use with their own site specific needs and requirements so we try to commit ourselves to be build based on their needs. We have used both full height and half height turnstiles in the manufacturing of MAC Portals and both types seem to work well.
