Modular Security Systems Inc. and the Patented Modular Access Control (MAC) Portal have made a lot of changes to the company and products over the years. Here is an example of just one. This now "standard" MAC-8 has eight full height, high security turnstiles, and is built into a 40' ISO shipping container. In the past MAC-8 units have been built out of 45' high cube containers but given the shortage of 45' high cube containers on the market MSSI and its' team of engineers and designers have been force to make a few adjustments.
Utilizing tandem turnstiles from Boon Edam MSSI has been able to build a MAC-8 with eight turnstile lanes and put an office within an 8' x 40' shipping container. MSSI prides itself on the ability to design turnstiles in containers with custom features that can come with the Patented MAC Portal. From heated floor systems for harsh cold climates to cctv cameras, ballistic rated windows, doors, and offices as well as the installation of the customers choice of turnstiles and access control, Patented MAC Portals have reached a new level of complexity to meet customers needs.
Turnstiles and access control technology in MAC Portals have found their way to secure the perimeter of locations in the U.S., Canada, and around the world both as temporary and permanent security installations. With customers at major industrial and commercial construction sites including a terminal construction project at JFK airport and the Freedom Tower construction project in New York City, New York MSSI has been able to secure perimeters with Patented MAC Portals for an broad list of clients.
