MSSI: Provide MAC Portal with Turnstiles at JFK Airport Project

Modular Security Systems Inc. has reported here in our Turnstile Blog on a number of major construction sites where the patented Modular Access Control (MAC) Portal has been put in use. The portability, functionality, and ruggedness of MAC Portals make them the perfect solution for access control, time-keeping, and perimeter security at a large number of projects around the U.S. This week we are proud to display some images of this MAC-4 (MAC Portal with 4 full height turnstiles) that is located in the fence line of a major project at the JFK Airport in New York City, New York.
When AECOM was awarded the $11 million contract at the JFK Airport to build a new terminal for Delta Airlines (Read More about the Project Here) perimeter security was one of their first concerns. Having heard about the MAC Portal from industry colleagues on other projects around the U.S. AECOM procurement staffers knew exactly who to call for a perimeter solution with full height turnstiles and access control technology. Through the use of this MAC-4 and the MAC-1 (pictured above in the background) the construction area has been secured and employees have a place to clock in and out for the day.
