Just today Modular Security Systems Inc. received notification of a purchase order from the JFK Airport for three Patented MAC Portals. The first unit listed on the P.O. is for a MAC-4 which is an access control entry point with four full height, high security turnstiles and a guard house. Once the contract process is completed this unit like all MAC Portals will manufactured using a new ISO shipping container, access control technology, full height turnstiles and will be delivered within 4-6 weeks.

In addition to the MAC-4 the airport has also requested two MAC-1 units in the purchase order. These units like the larger MAC-4 will be manufactured to be fence-line-ready-to-operate once they arrive on site.

"When the airport originally contacted MSSI to request a quote we were told the MAC Portals were going to be used to control access and track employees for a four year terminal expansion. We're very excited about the opportunity to be a part of this project, but you know this isn't the first time a MAC Portal has been to New York City," stated Steve Shelton, Senior Sales Rep for MSSI. "We actually have a unit already on site at the World Trade Center site where they are building the Freedom Tower."
