MSSI: 6 Turnstiles In a MAC Portal On Site

Modular Security Systems Inc. (MSSI) has Patented Modular Access Control (MAC) Portals like this one on site at a number of power plants, industrial complexes, major construction projects, and nuclear facilities around the United States. This MAC-6 (six turnstiles in a guard shack) unit has been on site for a little less than a year and has already proved to be a valuable asset to perimeter security.
This MAC-6 was delivered with 6 full height turnstiles and a guard office. The unit is fully insulated with finished walls, flooring and an HVAC unit in the guard office. The 6 turnstile lanes were integrated with access card readers and hand geometry units that identify individuals by their finger and hand print pattern. The 6 turnstiles in conjunction with the integrated access control technology are can provide safety and security management on site a number of reports including a mustering list, lists for payroll and time keeping.
The same plant also has a single turnstile unit, the MAC-1, installed in the perimeter fence line. This 1 turnstile unit is located in an area where traffic flow is considerable lesser than that of the main entry where the MAC-6 is installed.
